 My wonderful hosts thought I'd want to see alligators in their natural habitat, so they took me to the Big Cypress National Preserve. Since we were only separated by a few feet, I got a real feel for how primal and powerful those prehistoric monsters are. And while I was glad we went to see them, I was even happier when we said, "See ya later, Alligator".
