 I visited Cartersville, Georgia nine years ago and fell in love with the renowned Booth Museum. This trip I did a walking tour of the town affectionately nicknamed Museum City. What struck me was the artful blend of new and historic - with "new" being places like the colorful Mellow Mushroom pizzeria and "historic" being the stately Grand Theater. Of particular note was "The Jerks", a colorful soda jerk establishment.
