 Coming from the dry desert of Arizona, I was surprised how much it rained in the east - and how quickly the flowers responded to it. It seemed like every day there were new varieties and even more vibrant colors. I don't know much about gardening, but it seems to me like the old farmer's adage of "April showers bring May flowers" must be true.
