The famed 1969 Woodstock Festival took place on Max Yazgur's farm in Bethel, New York. Today the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts hosts three primary attractions - a museum dedicated to the weekend, an outdoor concert venue that continues to feature some of the top musicians in the world, and a monument on the site of the original concert. For more info, see my previous post about visiting this historic site with my daughter here.
