 When I chose Take Me Home, Country Roads for the musical title of this book, something interesting happened. The song's first words, "Almost heaven, West Virginia" started replaying in my head. Soon I found myself routing through West Virginia because I felt I had to see if it really would "take me home to the place I belong". And boy, did it ever. That 3 day country road trip through the gorgeous mountains proved to be...almost heaven.
