 I came upon this beautiful vista in the tiny village of Glen Ferris, West Virginia. Directly across the street was a good ol boy sitting on his porch who engaged me in friendly conversation. It is that kind of beauty and warm welcome that makes these road trips a true pleasure. And it is a further reminder of how wonderful America still is - despite what the media would have us believe.
