I thought it would be fitting to conclude my 7000 mile trip travelogue with another look at the same road I photographed for the cover shot of Take Me Home. Country Roads. Both images depict beauty, yet they are quite different. Just like the people and places we see when we travel this great country. And it is my hope that you get to personally experience that incredible feeling for yourself - whether you travel near or far.
With that said, I'd like to thank everyone who reached out or met up with me along the way. and to all those who encouraged me online. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of my very gracious hosts on this trip (in order of first appearance). As always, thank you for putting me up and putting up with me. :-) Carol and Mic Gray, Cherie ahd Tim Flanagan, Beverly and Lee Metzger, Millie and John Carter, Yolanda and Jerry Davis, Darlene Cox, Marge Morgan, Jessie and Brett Letourneau, Daphne Horvath and Christy and Tom Eble, Margo and Rick Wilhelmsen, Chris and Jessica Braboy, Janet Breen, Carmen and Dennis StangeLPatsy and Jim Donahey, Steve and Judy Facione, Patti and Gerry Congleton, Helen Higgins and Bert Przybylski, and Tracy Bowlby. In closing, I will leave you with these timeless words from an Irish blessing. May they comfort, encourage and inspire you on the road of life. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
