So I was delighted to learn I'd get to experience another day in a Paradise near the summit of Mount Ranier. Paradise, WA is Mount Rainier National Parks most dramatic visitor center. The road up the mountain and down the backside it is as spectacular as it is white knuckling. But my oh my, is the trip ever worth it. In addition to astounding views of the 14, 410 foot peak, Paradise offers some of the park's most popular hiking trails. The meadows are ablaze with color from the wildflowers and there are glaciers and waterfalls waiting to be seen. It is truly a visual treat for the senses and...
