 My final stop on Route 66 was the former mining/now revived ghost town named Oatman, AZ. It is known for it's colorful history and cute shops and eateries. But what people from all over the world come to see are the famous burros (video here). Once bred to work the mines, the gentle beasts now roam free and serve as ambassadors to this Wild West town.
