 Ellicottville, New York came as a complete and wonderful surprise on my trek through Western New York. It reminded me a lot of what Aspen, Colorado was like many years ago. And when I learned it had 2 ski slopes nearby, I understood why. The walkable downtown exudes charm, hosts over 20 shops and 20 bars and restaurants, and offers all kinds of fun activities.
