 The popular site Pure Michigan describes Manchester, Michigan as "a charming 19th-century village...just 20 miles southwest of Ann Arbor...surrounded by lush, beautiful landscapes...with shopping, historic architecture, and enchanting parks". And after touring the quaint downtown area and visiting the impressive Manchester Area Historical Society, I have to say that I couldn't have described this colorful, lovely village any better.
