Arizona Muscle Reunion 2019.
On Sunday, March 3, 2019 we gathered at Gordon Biersch in Scottsdale to celebrate Arizona’s Golden Era of Bodybuilding, Strength and Fitness. The three hour event provided a long overdue opportunity for us to reconnect and share stories and laughter with some of the Arizona champions from 1960’s through 1990’s. The reunion included a toast to the incredible athletes who are no longer with us, but left us with a lasting legacy. And as you will see in the Arizona Muscle Reunion 2019 Photos below, somehow the group photo op morphed into a fun posedown. :-)

If it weren’t for Arizona, I would never have had a crazy career photographing and writing about athletes for Muscle and Fitness and running a chain of health clubs. So, I am deeply indebted to everyone who gave me a start and/or took a big chance to let me point a camera or a microphone at them. To give proper credit where credit is long overdue, I have begun to assemble a gallery below that features some of the people and publications who blessed me along the way. I hope seeing them brings back a lot of great muscle memories for you.
