I was able to work in one last quick trip to my high school home town of Wyandotte, MI to meet up with a couple of good buddies Bert Przybylski (left) and Rich Sikes. We met up at the Mitten Pub, which is co-owned by Katey Reedy, the daughter of one of our dearly departed classmates, Butch Cox. For those of you who don't know, Michigan is in the shape of a mitten - hence the bar's name that serves all Michigan beers on tap. And because of the mitten shape you can ask anyone who has ever lived there where they are from and they will point to that spot on their hand. Pretty hand-y, huh? I could tell you how wonderful it has been to know these guys for all the years, but I don't want them to get swelled heads. :-) Suffice to say that it has been a blessing and a privilege to call them both friends.
