While I was in visiting my friend's Glen Mura and Karen Boreyko's farms I went for a walk down a quiet, winding, country road traveled by Amish buggies going to and fro. I came upon this ice cream stand miles from the nearest tiny town. As you can tell, the signs to Lenny's Ice Cream Shack are the the only indication there's a business at 861 Panama Bear Lake Rd Panama, NY. And if you look real hard, you can see the actual stand way in the back next to a corn field. But despite it's remote location, the word is the place is real popular with the locals and those travelers who are willing to go out of their way to get the scoop on some ice cream that is...here I go channeling my inner John Denver...really far out. I wasn't able to get there on the days it was open to give it a review, so if any of you have been there give me a shout - no, make that a "scream" - because as we all know..."I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream!!" (There. Now doesn't your inner 9 year old who never once worried about calories feel better?) :-)
