 Sometimes I can’t sleep well on the nights before a big drive. So when I woke up at 1:00 AM in Atlanta I decided to get on the road to my next stop in Florida. Bad idea. I hadn’t made it 50 miles before my right rear tire blew out. So there I am stuck in the middle of the night in a strange city. I thought I’d go old school and change the tire myself, but discovered that I didn’t have a spare. (Yeah, I know. Shoulda checked that long before I ever left home.) So that left me calling Farmers Insurance's vendor Road America Roadside Assistance (a Mapfire company) which turned out to be incredibly frustrating. My rep was in Miami, FL and knew nothing about getting a flat fixed in Atlanta. He must have been new because I had to constantly repeat myself and direct him on what to do because he was floundering big time. Well after an hour on the phone with him he said he couldn’t find anyone to help me, but he’d call me back when/if he could. I immediately called back and asked for a supervisor and pleaded my case. The blessings started happening when I got a call from Alicia Holmes at Stage Ten Atlanta Towing and she went out of her way to help me find a solution. Minutes later Jarvison Arnolds - who looked like he could have deadlifted my car onto the rack - showed up to tow me to Firestone Tire in Morrow, GA. A few hours later Firestone opened and the very helpful, Sean Brown fixed me up and got me back on the road again.
Update 2017: When the folks at Farmer's Insurance and Road America Roadside Assistance were made aware of my experience they went out of their way to apologize and rectify the situation. So I want to give a special thanks to Ron Sigrist, Stephanie Cain and Debbie Schreiner for making sure I got the great customer service their respective - and respected - companies are known for. If only i could explain to you how much you made my day. Not even the fact that you took the time out to make sure my boss/ the owner got this but your sister called in on your behalf as well and spoke to my supervisor. It looked wonderful on me. But thats not even the important part. By me trying my best to be a blessing for you God turned right around and made it a blessing for me in more ways than you know or I could explain to you. So I just wanted you to know that but most importantly that I was able to help you. I didn't think or felt like I did much at all and sometimes get upset because there isn't more I can do in some situations to help people but I still try to the best of ability. I hope you have a safe trip and I will also send you a request on facebook and follow your page as well. Thank you so much for taking out the time to give a review for me.
