 Frankenmuth, Michigan is known for two things: A giant Christmas store and chicken dinners. And perhaps the most famous of the latter can be found at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. The magnificent German themed restaurant has served millions of dinners and the famed Bavarian Inn Glockenspiel Tower has a 35-bell carillon, a figurine movement and an illuminated clock. The sound of the Glockenspiel originates from the 50-foot bell tower and can be heard for miles. So it takes "ringing the dinner bell" to a whole new level.
