I was really looking forward to seeing Frankfurt on my road trip around the perimeter of Michigan. I first went there to work with my cousin in my Aunt's pizza shop when I was a Junior at Eastern Michigan University. Back then the town was very small and so quaint that they would shut down a hilly street in the winter so families could sled down them. Today it has grown into a bustling tourist town with great shops and restaurants. But as you can see by this photo, Frankfurt has grown gracefully and still prides itself on looking beautiful.
