If there is any one structure linked with the initial efforts to revitalize Detroit it is The Renaissance Center. Located on the Detroit International Riverfront, the seven connected skyscrapers look to Detroit from it's front windows and to Windsor, Canada from it's back windows. The central tower remains the tallest building in Michigan since it was erected in 1977. And much like the city itself, the "RenCen" has reinvented itself many times and continues to evolve and grow in popularity.
