You can't check out actual bacon at the Bacon Library, but you sure can get some local history. Like the fact that celebrities Lucille Ball and Lee Majors once called Wyandotte home. Or like local author Alana Paluszewski describes it in Shooting Star: The Amazing Life of Ann Marston, we had a beauty queen, international archery champion and rock band promoter all in one. And in her book, Wyandotte at War: A Michigan Town Fights Back in WWII, Alana details how our town came together to help win the war. And yes, that is my friends' Mom, Marilyn Gray sitting on the top right, so I know I'm gonna luv this book.
