80. Amazing Places: Ann Arbor, MI.
Ann Arbor, Michigan is an exciting example of how to preserve historic beauty while welcoming innovative technologies. The Gandy Dancer (top left) is the former Michigan Central Railroad Station built in 1839 and converted into a very popular restaurant in 1970. The stunning Tower Plaza (top right) is the tallest building in Ann Arbor rising 26 stories. The Michigan Theater (bottom left) is a gorgeous art deco movie house that originally opened in the Roaring 20's to showcase vaudeville acts and live orchestras. And last but not least are the robots that deliver food (bottom right). Yep. I said robots.
