Marine City is a laid back town that sits on the beautiful shores of eastern Michigan. Like it's name implies, it has a rich nautical history including having been the world's greatest wooden ship making center. The historic Mariner Theater was once a movie palace and vaudeville theater but now serves as an interesting museum with its cleverly worded marquee. The Peche Island Rear Range Light proudly bearing the name Marine City stands proudly in Lighthouse Park. The Marine City Fish Company is a very popular restaurant cleverly hosting a bar that literally keeps things ship shape. And the Two Rivers Winery is an inviting spot that offers a great number of interesting and diverse wines.
