 Original Facebook post August 3 at 1:16 PM The next stop on the road west was at Golden, BC. It is a charming little town with great restaurants, pubs, coffee houses and shopping. It is nestled in a valley looking out at impressive mountains and has the nearby Kicking Horse River, Blaeberry River and Columbia River adding even more natural beauty. LIke so much of Canada, the people were friendly and helpful, the dining options were tasteful and creative, and the welcoming feeling made me feel right at home.
