I feel like we hit the family lottery when my daughter, Jessie married Brett Letourneau. Brett is an remarkable young man. Kind. Caring. Patient. Fun. Intelligent. Dedicated. Hard working. Calm. Great parent. And a lot more. So, he is a perfect match for Jessie, who has all those same qualities. (Am I sounding a bit like a proud Dad/Dad In Law here?) :-) If all of this weren't enough, Brett found a way to bless our lives even more by adding his family to ours. His Mom, Wanda, and Dad, David Letourneau are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They are quick to help others, give encouragement, and always find ways to add enjoyment to life. And as I just found out when I visited them in Mabel Lake, BC, they are very gracious hosts as well. In the course of our visit, we got to hike to Cascade Falls, cruise the lake, hang out with their son Regan (also terrific Dad!) and his daughter, Kensie, watch the entrepreneur cousins, Nyah and Teayden launch another successful venture, get travel tips from daughter RoRo Siddons, and enjoy s'mores cooked over the campfire. It was a terrific time spent with terrific people. So I want to take this time to thank Brett again for being such a tremendous gift to us. And for bringing his remarkable family into our lives.
