 I got to meet a real Wiseman upon arriving in Barrie, Ontario. Dean Wiseman to be exact. He was playing his guitar in the park and so I decided to introduce myself and find out a little bit about him. Turns out he's not just a Wiseman in name only. This singer songwriter has quite a story, one that he feels he is fortunate to be alive to tell. He spoke with such humbleness and gratitude, it was a joy to listen to him speak and sing. And it came as no surprise that this talented man - who must have always had a guaranteed role in the Christmas Nativity play (I'll wait until that joke lands) - loves to play good old Country music.
