 Like many people, I thought Woodstock, NY was the home of the greatest rock concert of all time. But I recently learned that the 1969 Woodstock Festival was actually held many miles away when I visited that historic site with my daughter (that story here). What Woodstock is accurately known for is it's enchanting atmosphere, enticing places like the Woodstock Music Shop, and its many delicious eateries like The Mud Club and Oriole 9. And of course, there's lots of art to take us back to a simpler time when the topics of the day were peace and love.
