After hearing so much about the The Heidelberg Project, I was looking forward to seeing it - as do the estimated 275,000 people who visit it every year. And fortunately, I was able to meet the artist who created it, Tyree Guyton. Described as ode to urban diversity, discussion and "Medicine for the community,” the rambling, art installation has been recognized as one of USA Today’s Best Art Districts. And while it may not be everyone's taste in art, there's no doubt The Heidelberg Project makes a bold, colorful, thought-provoking statement.
