 A friend of 50+ years suggested we meet for lunch in South Haven, Michigan and I was glad to comply. The town is gorgeous and has so much color it is dazzling. The fashionable shops and incredible restaurants are abundant. And there is amazing blue water all around. The vibe feels like a cross between a vintage European village and a chic Southern California beach town, but like the state slogan says, it's Pure Michigan.
