The first thing you see when you cross the state line is a sign that says, "Welcome to Colorful Colorado". It is as if they want to prepare you for the visual treats ahead - the snowcapped mountains, dreamy green valleys, pillowy white clouds and brilliant rainbows. And what you soon realize is that the people of Colorado are just as colorful as the place they call home. They make yard fences out old ski's, put gazebos on hidden island ponds, build epic fitness facilities in public parks, host world champion kayakers on a rushing mountain stream and offer free concerts in the park featuring astoundingly gifted musicians. So if you could use a little more color in your life - be it Amazing Places or Amazing Faces - I suggest you find your way to the state with the sign that truly delivers on it's promise.
